A police officer will spend next 8 years in prison after a Magistrate Court in Malawi's central region of Ntcheu found him guilty on charges of attempted robbery.

Police are speaking strongly against continued cases of mob justice in the country.

The Police are pushing for changes to the Rogue and Vagabond law that was recently declared unconstitutional by the constitutional court.
