In a bid to promote peace and social cohesion in managing conflicts in the country, the Public Affairs Committee (PAC) has organised a two day conflicts early warning and response training for various stakeholders in Karonga district.

Findings of consultations done by the Public Affairs Committee-PAC on federalism and inclusivity reveal that Malawians are behind the idea of a government of national unity as opposed to a federal state.

A high level meeting of the Public Affairs Committee has recommended that the forensic audit report on the Capital hill financial scandal should be published with names of suspects by the 15th of March.

The Public Accounts Committee has rejected the Forensic Audit Report by Baker Tilley Services Limited, which was submitted to Parliament on Monday.

There was tension at the on -going PAC All- Inclusive meeting, as minister of Foreign affairs Ephraim Mganda Chiume  accused  delegates of personalizing issues.
