The High Court in Lilongwe has ordered the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to conclude within fourteen days, its investigations against one of the suspects arrested in connection to the alleged provision of passports to foreign nationals.

The Anti Corruption Bureau-ACB is defending its move not to effect arrests on officials implicated in the ADMARC maize scandal.

The opposition is still criticizing the Anti-Corruption Bureau for what they are describing as selective application of justice.

People’s Party symphathisers, on Monday, converged at Lilongwe police station demanding the immediate release of the party’s interim leader Uladi Mussa.

Stakeholders are raising suspicions with the developments unfolding at the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC), claiming there are deliberate plans to paralyze the institution.
