Traditional leaders in northern Malawi are said to be spearheading efforts to improve safe motherhood and protect youths from early and pre-arranged marriages that affect the social-economic development of the southern Africa nation.

The Karonga District Hospital (KDH) has trained its support members of staff in Infection Prevention (IP) and good customer care services through Performance Quality Improvement (PQI).

 

Women in Karonga district have commended the Adventist Health Services (AHS) in Malawi for impacting their lives through the provision of different health services.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) has noted that the acute shortage of personnel and misuse of resources is fuelling deaths of expectant mothers and babies in Malawi.

Patients are raising concern over the withholding of medical services by the Blantyre Adventist Hospital – BAH to those on various medical aid schemes.
