Excitement is building up among music fans ahead of a planned live performance by Jamaican reggae band Culture.

The Band is set to arrive in the country on Wednesday.

Organisers of the event, Impakt Events disclosed that they have set up everything for an enjoyable show.

Director of Impakt Events, Lucius Banda has assured fans of the group that they will not be disappointed at any of the music shows.

He added that as an organiser he will not destroy his image this time around as he has managed to deliver great entertainment in the past.

Banda’s company brought to Malawian soil international performers such as Tanzania’s Diamond and also Jamaican Busy Signal last year.

Culture is expected to perform in Blantyre on Friday and in Lilongwe the following day.

They well share the stage with other local reggae heavyweights such as the Black Missionaries and Zembani Band.

Culture is a Jamaican roots reggae group founded in 1976.

It was originally known as the African Disciples.

The group garnered international recognition for its long series of classic “roots” albums.

Culture’s legendary “Two Sevens Clash” (Shanachie) was Reggae Album of the Year in 1977.

It is acknowledged by Rolling Stone Magazine (April 11, 2002) as #25 of the 50 all time coolest records (the only reggae album to make the list).

After the death of founding member Joseph Hill who was also lead singer and songwriter for the group in 2007, the band is currently being led by Hill’s son Kenyatta.

Although Kenyatta is also pursuing a successful solo career, 2017 will see Culture featuring Kenyatta Hill constantly on the road in commemoration of the 40th Anniversary of the release of the iconic Two Sevens Clash Album which is still heard on turntables and radios worldwide.

Whoa! This blog looks exactly like my old one! It's on a completely different subject
but it has pretty much the same layout and design. Wonderful choice
    of colors!

After I initially commented I appear to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and
now each time a comment is added I receive 4 emails with
the exact same comment. Perhaps there is a means you are able
to remove me from that service? Appreciate it!

I must say, as considerably as I enjoyed reading what you had to say, I couldnt help but lose interest after a while. Its as if you had a good grasp around the topic matter, but you forgot to include your readers. Perhaps you should think about this from much more than one angle. Or maybe you shouldnt generalise so a lot. Its better if you think about what others may have to say instead of just going for a gut reaction to the subject. Think about adjusting your own believed process and giving others who may read this the benefit of the doubt.
