One of Malawi's filmmakers, Shemu Joya is set to premiere his latest movie next month.
Joya broke the news on his personal Facebook account along with a second teaser of the movie for fans to enjoy.
The first premier will be in the capital city, Lilongwe on the 3rd of November and in Blantyre on November 11.
Titled, The Road to Sunrise, the motion picture centres on the lives of two girls and how and why they become prostitutes.
In an earlier interview with Capital FM, Joya expressed optimism that Malawians would recieve the movie well despite it centreing on a topic that some percieve as a taboo to talk about especially in public.
"A lot of hard work has been put into the movie and we are certain that it will make a difference and also entertain," Joya added.
Last month, the film won an award for best narrative feature at the Sillicon Valley African Film Festival.
At last year’s festival another Malawian filmmaker, Flora Suya won an award for the best Narrative Feature Film for the movie My Mother’s Story.
