China's Shanshan Feng will take a one-shot lead into the final round of the Women's US Open in New Jersey.

The 27-year-old birdied the 18th at the Trump National Golf Club to card a one-under-par 71 to sit at eight under after three rounds.

South Korean amateur Choi Hye-Jin, 17, and compatriot Amy Yang are tied a shot back in second having both hit 70s.

Fellow Koreans Sung Hyun Park (-6), Mirim Lee, Ryu So-yeon and Jeongeun6 Lee (all -5) complete the top seven.

Feng, the bronze medallist from the 2016 Rio Olympics, made 17 consecutive pars until the birdie at the par-five 18th.

She has led the event since the first round and has had major success before in the 2012 LPGA Championship,

"I was trying so hard to make putts," Feng said. "My putting was really working for the first two days. Today my speed was not as good.

"My Plan A wasn't working so it was Plan B which is hit the ball closer to the hole. At 18. I hit it really close and finally made a birdie. Made my day."

Choi, in contention to become the first amateur to land a women's major for 50 years, bogeyed the first hole but fought back with birdies at the eighth, 11th and 16th.

The only amateur winner of the US Open was France's Catherine Lacoste - daughter of French tennis legend Rene - in 1967.

England's Charley Hull is tied for 18th on one under par after a one-over 73.

Compatriot Georgia Hall hit four birdies and two double bogies to card a five-over 77 and sits tied in 55th place.

Having hit eight bogeys, Scot Catriona Matthew dropped to 57th on six over after a third-round 79.

US President Donald Trump, owner of the 500-acre complex, watched on from a glass viewing suite and is expected back on Sunday for the final round.

I have been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all web owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be much more useful than ever before.
