Budding rapper Doen set to release debut album

One of the country’s up and coming artist Doen has set his sights on releasing his debut album this year.

The artist successfully released his first Extended Playlist and some music videos featuring the likes of Gwamba and Janta last year.

According to the artist whose birth name is Thomas Tchuwa, the album is expected to be out by November, with the main launch slated for December.

The 25 year old rapper highlights his 15 track album will be a combination of gospel and love songs.

He adds that 7 of the songs have already been produced by Lilongwe based producer PK.

“Am working hard to ensure that this album comes to life because I have already made all necessary arrangements with producer,” said Doen.

However, the artists is expressing doubt about including some songs from his debut Extended Playlist which was released last year.

Meanwhile, Doen is optimistic of holding more performances and producing more music videos.

He is expected to shoot a video of one of the songs this February.
