Nsanje police arrest two for abduction

Two men in Nsanje are in police custody for allegedly offering for sale a nine year old boy in the district.

Nsanje Police Publicist Agnes Zalakoma has identified the two as 36-year-old Master Thomson and 29-year-old Shadreck Davie.

Zalakoma reveals that Thomson engaged Davie to assist him in finding a market to sell the victim who is his biological son.

During their investigations, detectives posed as potential buyers from Blantyre after receiving a tip off.

The two were arrested after they sealed a deal with the fake buyers.

According to police, Thomson claimed that his son is worth MK3 million should his body parts be extracted.

Reports indicate that Thomson has previously been involved in shady deals.

Master Thomson hails from Chapulumuka village in the  area on chief Ngabu and his accomplice Shareck Dave hails from Chikwembe village in the area of chief Malemia in Nsanje district
