Adepoju leads top goal scorer position

Mighty Be Forward Wanderers Striker Babatunde Adepoju is leading on top goal scorers in the TNM Super League.

The star now has seven goals from seven games which he has been featured by the Lali Lubani side.

Babatunde started scoring in the first match he featured where he scored two goals when the Nomads were playing against Mzuni FC at Kamuzu Stadium.

He then netted his third goal which was the only and winning goal when Wanderers were hosted by Savenda Chitipa United at Karonga Stadium.

Adepoju reached his fifth goal when he scored two goals again when his team was playing against Dwangwa United at Kamuzu stadium.

Then last Saturday, after scoring two goals which were the only goals when the Nomads were playing Mlatho Mponela, the star moved from five goals where he was at par with Micium Mhone of Blue Eagles to seven goals.

Mhone is not the only one with five goals as he is sharing the number with Stain Davie and Marshall Maluwa.

Four players are having four goals each and they are Chiukepo Msowoya, Vincent Nyangulu, Lloyd Njaliwa and Josaya Duwa.

Following the four are again four players with three goals each who are the Silver Strikers forward duo Khuda Muyaba and Michael Tete plus Isaac Msiska and Precious Chipungu.

Duncan Nyoni, Hassan Upindi, Harry Nyirenda, Tony Mbulu, Amadu Makawa, Collen Khulambe, Shelton Banda and Deus Mkutu are all having two goals each.

So far, 66 goals have been scored in the TNM Super League which is entering its tenth week this coming weekend.

The Nigerian Babatunde Adepoju was bought by Nomads at MK7 million from Alfred Gangata’s Masters Security.
