7 games to be played in the TNM Super League this weekend

The battle for supremacy in the TNM Super League continues this weekend with over 7 games to be played on Saturday and Sunday.

 Defending champions Nyasa Big Bullets are not playing this weekend.

 Currently, Wanderers forward, Babatunde Adepoje is the leading goal scorer in the league with 14 goals.

Mighty Be Forward Wanders are topping the log table with  36 points from 16 games, 4 points adrift their neighbors and rivals  Nyasa big bullets who are second with 32 points from the same number of games.

Blue Eagles 1-0 win against TN Stars on Wednesday yesterday saw them displacing Kamuzu Barracks from 3 rd position with 31 points from 17 games.

The bottom three consists of Dwangwa United who have collected seven points in their last three games.

Dwangwa United has since moved two steps up on the log table to position 14 with 15 points from 18 games, while Mlatho Mponela are seating on position 15 with 13 points from 17 games.

Masters Security is anchoring the log table with 13 points from 17 games.

This weekend, the Nomads and Silver Strikers return to the pitch after last week’s break, when the teams were exempted as it provided many players to the national team for the game against the Botswana Zebras.

On Saturday Karonga United is expected to host Mzuni Football Club at Karonga Stadium, Civil Sporting Club will play against Tigers at the Civo stadium, while in Blantyre, Wanderers play host to Ntopwa FC.

On Sunday the battle for maximum points continues, as Moyale Barracks host Savenda Chitipa United at Mzuzu Stadium, while TN Stars will play against Masters Security at Kasungu Stadium.

On the same day, Blue Eagles will play against Mighty Tigers at Nakhaka stadium, and the revamped Dwangwa United will host the Bankers Silver Strikes at Chitowe stadium.
